The hotel's 16 magnificent banqueting and reception rooms, two with minstrel galleries, including the Majan Ballroom, which can host banquets for up to 800, and the Gulf of Oman Room, overlooking the ocean, are perfect for hosting conferences and luncheons for up to 150. The adjoining Al Qurm Room allows greater flexibility where larger groups are involved.

The magnificent Oman Auditorium is a theatre that has a seating capacity of 628, with flawless armchairs and acoustics to match. The colossal stage, with its hydraulic orchestra pit, is truly fit for a spectacular performance. The sunken audio-visual studios are equipped for television and radio recording, broadcasting and simultaneous translation. Alongside, the Bosher Room, with its stately arches and viewing gallery, provides a perfect setting for pre-theatre receptions and exhibitions.

The Mazoon Room provides a unique combination of elegance and sophisticated electronics. With multilingual translation facilities and rich, panelled wall, up to 40 delegates can confer in style.

With its own separate entrance and private access road, the Majan Ballroom is ideal for the private banquet or the conference dinner. Comfortably seating 550 in a formal setting, or up to 1000 for a cocktail reception, its tasteful luxury, enhanced by no less than 32 of the finest Austrian chandeliers, cannot fail to impress. The adjoining Ruwi Room can be used as an anteroom or hospitality suite, and the elegantly marbled Majan Pre-Function Room can entertain up to 500.

The beautiful Pearl Room sets a standard that is hard to find anywhere. The stately filigree doors open to reveal not one but, in effect, two rooms offering a degree of luxury, with gold-plated fountains, ruby drapes and exquisite Murano chandeliers. In the Pearl Room, you can host 60 for dinner or 100 for cocktails in a truly grand manner.
